Businesses establishing or upgrading premises in Nicosia's Walled City may qualify for a Cyprus Government grant covering 60% of eligible expenditure, up to €80,000 per project, subject to the current scheme rules and approval.

Eligible expenditure can include construction works, electromechanical works, professional studies and part of the equipment required for the business. Precise eligibility is determined by the official Scheme Guide and appendices.

Beneficiaries are required to use renovated premises for the approved business activity for at least five years.

ΣΥΝ does not administer the government grant and cannot determine eligibility or guarantee approval. Applicants should consult the current official Scheme Guide and Department of Town Planning and Housing before making financial commitments.

For the right businesses, involvement may go beyond premises.

At ΣΥΝ, we are not simply looking to fill empty shops. We are building a complementary mix of independent businesses, makers and creative practices that can bring something distinctive to the building, street and Old Nicosia.

Selected tenants may be offered additional financial support directly from the owner of ΣΥΝ.

Support may contribute towards agreed costs involved in preparing, fitting out and opening the space, alongside government funding independently qualified for. There is no fixed package; every proposal is considered individually.
